So I quit smoking.
I am not sure I feel better, but I am sure I do not LOOK better.
This could be because I have consumed more than 100,000 calories in the past five weeks. I haven't been tracking this, but I've gained eleven pounds and if we multiply 11 (pounds) by 3,500 (calories), 38,500 calories stuck and the rest were used to breathe and stress about not being able to breathe nicotine.
Houston, we have a problem!
I am 53 years old and metabolism is not on my side. Gravity is not on my side. Hormones are not on my side.
Shit!
As Ed likes to say, Let's get to work.
One month, five days, 11 hours, 14 minutes and 28 seconds. 729 cigarettes not smoked, saving $357.75. Life saved: 2 days, 12 hours, 45 minutes.
